Connect the credential in Growtek

What you will achieve​

Growtek gets access to the client's WhatsApp Business account.

Before you start​

  • WABA ID, App ID, Access Token and App Secret from the Meta app.
  • Permissions integrations.manage (create credentials) and agentSettings.provision (channels).

Step by step​

  1. Open Settings → Credentials and click Add credential.
  2. Choose WhatsApp Cloud API.
  3. Fill in WABA ID, App ID, Access Token and App Secret, plus a Name to recognize it.
  4. Click Test.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Go to Settings → Channels and, in the WhatsApp row, click Configure.
  7. In WhatsApp app, click Choose credential and select the one you created.

How to verify​

  • Test responds Connection with … verified — the credential is valid and active.
  • In Channels, Validation status → Credential is green.

If something fails​

  • The test fails: the token may be expired or lack permissions on that WABA. Generate a new one in Meta and replace the credential.
