What you will achieve

Get AI running in the workspace.

Before you start

• The OpenAI API key (sk-…) or the Gemini one.
• At least one AI agent enabled (otherwise AI connections does not appear).

Step by step

1. Open Settings → Credentials and click Add credential.
2. Choose OpenAI or Google Gemini, paste the API Key and click Test.
3. Click Save.
4. Open Settings → AI connections and expand Customer Support Agent (or Prospecting Agent, if the workspace only has prospecting).
5. In AI Model, click Choose credential and select the credential.
6. Click Test connection.
7. Open Settings → Billing, enter the Monthly limit (USD) and click Save budget.

The key is stored encrypted and is never shown again. There is no model selector: the default model of the chosen provider is used.

How to verify

• AI connections shows AI active in this workspace.
• In the assistant, What's missing → AI key (OpenAI or Gemini) is done.
• Billing no longer shows Budget not configured.
