Monitor the sync
What you'll achieve
Know whether the sync is working and fix it if it is not.
Step by step
In Settings → Sync, each card shows the status of the last run:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Not run | It has never run yet. |
| Synced | The last run finished successfully. |
| No changes | It ran and there was nothing new. |
| Did not run today | It was scheduled but did not get to run. |
| Error | It failed; the error text appears below, in red. |
And the counters: imported, exported, skipped, to trash, restored and replicated deletions. Skipped records are records that already came from the provider and are not exported again, to avoid duplicates: this is not lost information.
When there is an error
- Read the error text.
- If it is an access error, click Test on the credential (Settings → Credentials).
- If fields are missing, review the Field mapping.
- Fix it and click Sync now.
How to verify
The status goes back to Synced and the counters reflect the changes.
