Channels
What it is for
Channels is where you connect the channels the agents talk through: WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, the Web widget and Meta Lead Ads forms. For each one it shows whether it is connected and lets you test and diagnose it.
How to get there
Settings → Channels · app.growtek.io/en/settings/channels
The screen in detail
One row per channel, with its status and the Configure button:
| Channel | Agent | How it connects |
|---|---|---|
| Both | WhatsApp Cloud API credential from the vault + a number per line | |
| Facebook Messenger | Support | Connect with Facebook and choose the page |
| Support | Connect with Facebook and choose the account | |
| Web widget | Support | Allowed domains + code snippet |
| Meta Lead Ads | Prospection | Connect with Facebook, the ads page and the webhook |
If a channel's agent is not enabled in the workspace, the row shows as Not enabled.
The WhatsApp panel
- WhatsApp app: the credential from the vault. The app and the webhook are the same for both lines.
- View webhook setup: the Webhook URL and the Verify token to paste into the Meta app.
- The lines: Support line and Prospection line (only those of the enabled agents). Each one picks its own WhatsApp number for this line; a number used by one line cannot be repeated on the other.
- Validation status: Credential, Webhook verified and Test.
- Agent active on this channel: pauses the agent without losing the configuration.
- Channel diagnostics (Run diagnostics): checks configured credential, valid token, token permissions, verified number and subscribed webhook.
- Test message (Test channel).
- Only on the prospection line: Recovery template (WhatsApp) and Recover via text.
- Update number and Disconnect.
What you can do
Connect WhatsApp
- First create the credential: in Settings → Credentials click Add credential, choose WhatsApp Cloud API, fill in WABA ID, App ID, Access Token and App Secret and click Save (you can click Test).
- In Channels, WhatsApp row, click Configure.
- In WhatsApp app click Choose credential and select the one you created.
- Click View webhook setup and copy the Webhook URL and the Verify token into your Meta app.
- Choose the line: Support line or Prospection line.
- In WhatsApp number for this line choose the number and click Connect.
- In Test message, click Test channel, send the code shown from your WhatsApp to the connected number and wait for the confirmation.
How to verify: in Validation status, Credential and Webhook verified are green. The full guide, including the Meta side, is in Phase 2 · Meta and WhatsApp.
Connect Messenger or Instagram
- In the Facebook Messenger or Instagram row, click Configure.
- Click Connect with Facebook and log in. When you return you will see Facebook account connected.
- Choose the Facebook Page for this line (Messenger) or the Instagram account for this line (Instagram).
- Click Connect.
- Click Validate in Validation status.
The Instagram account must be a Business or creator account. If the Facebook connection expires, use Reconnect.
Install the web widget
In the Web widget row, fill in Widget security (Allowed domains and Data processing policy) and copy the Code snippet into the site. See Install the web widget.
Connect Meta Lead Ads
- In the Meta Lead Ads row, click Configure.
- If you see Connect your Facebook account to receive leads., click Connect with Facebook.
- Choose the Facebook Page for the ads (it is saved when you choose it).
- Click View webhook setup and paste the Webhook URL and the Verify token into your Meta app.
- Turn on Prospect leads automatically if you want each lead to create a prospection.
- Click Validate and check Lead activity (Received, Contacts, Prospected, Failed).
If you have Messenger connected, that page is used by default. This webhook is independent: leads are not duplicated even if you have other channels connected.
Required permissions
| Action | Permission |
|---|---|
| View Channels | conversations.read |
| Connect, change or disconnect channels | agentSettings.provision |
| Configure Lead Ads and the recovery template | agentSettings.update |
| Create the WhatsApp credential | integrations.manage |
Without agentSettings.provision the screen is read-only.
FAQ
The webhook does not verify. Check that the URL and the token pasted into Meta are exactly the ones in View webhook setup, and click Run diagnostics.
I can't choose a number for the prospection line. That number is already on the support line: each line needs its own number.
