Sync
What it is for
Sync connects each module to an external system —a Shopify or Ecwid store, a CRM, a Google Sheets spreadsheet, a Supabase database— to pull or push data without entering it by hand.
How to get there
Settings → Sync · app.growtek.io/en/settings/sync
It only appears if the workspace has a syncable module active.
The screen in detail
One card per module: Contacts, Products, Services, Projects and Distributors. Each card has:
- Enable module sync.
- Connection: a credential from the vault for a sync connector.
- Resource: what is synced (depends on the connector).
- Row filter (optional): for Supabase-type databases.
- Direction: Import (inbound), Export (outbound) or Bidirectional.
- Field mapping: each row pairs a local field with a remote one. In Value source you choose Provider field or Fixed value, and in Field direction, ↔ Both, ← Pull only or → Push only.
- Statuses to exclude; for products, also Categories to ignore and Max photos.
- For contacts: Attach the lead brief as a note, Attach the ticket information as a note, Unmapped columns as a note, among other options.
- Real-time sync (if the connector supports it).
- Last sync, Next sync, Sync now and Save.
Status of the last run: Not run, Synced, No changes, Did not run today or Error (with the error text), and the counters for imported, exported, skipped, to trash, restored and deletions replicated.

What you can do
Configure a module's sync
- First create the external system's credential in Settings → Credentials → Add credential.
- In Sync, on the module's card, turn on Enable module sync.
- In Connection choose the connector and in Resource what is synced.
- Choose the Direction and adjust the Field mapping.
- Click Save.
- Click Sync now for the first run.
How to verify: the status changes to Synced and the counters show the imported or exported records.
- If configuration is missing you will see Complete the configuration to enable syncing.
- If a required field is not mapped you will see Missing required fields. For products they are the SKU, the name and the description; for services, projects and distributors, the name.
- Automatic sync runs once a day (08:00 UTC, 3:00 a.m. in Colombia). With Real-time sync, changes are reflected in seconds; today only Google Sheets offers it.
The implementation guide, with the details of each connector, is in Phase 7 · Sync.
Required permissions
| Action | Permission |
|---|---|
| View the configuration | dataSync.read |
| Configure and sync | dataSync.manage |
| Create the connector's credential | integrations.manage |
FAQ
The run says "skipped". These are records that already came from the provider and are not exported again, to avoid duplicates. It is not lost data.
I chose Bidirectional with SIIGO and it fails. SIIGO is read-only: use Import (inbound).
