Contacts
What it is for
Contacts is the workspace's client base. Every person the company talks to (through an agent call, a WhatsApp message, a Meta form or an import) becomes a contact, with their company, tags, lists, assigned sales rep and everything that happened with them (opportunities, quotes, tickets and conversations).
It is also the source for prospecting campaigns: the lists and contacts you choose when launching a campaign come from here.
How to get there
Sidebar → Clients · app.growtek.io/en/clients/contacts
Clients groups four tabs: Contacts, Companies, Tags and Segments. Contacts is the one that opens by default.
You can also create a contact from the Create → New contact button in the sidebar, or search for one from any screen with ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl K (Windows/Linux).
The screen in detail
- Key metrics (top): Clients (total and new in 30 days), Hot, Warm, Cold, No sales rep and Classified by AI. Clicking one filters the list.
- Views panel (left):
- All and My clients (the ones assigned to you).
- Segments: rule-based groupings. The + creates a new one.
- Lists: manual groupings. The + opens New list; No list shows the contacts that are not in any list.
- To recover: provisional contacts created by an inbound channel (a WhatsApp number that wrote in, a Messenger account) that are not yet identified. The normal list hides them so it does not fill up with non-contactable records.
- Trash: deleted contacts, which can be restored.
- Top bar: search box (name, email or phone), Filters, the saved views menu (bookmark icon), the Table / Cards selector, Columns (table only), Export, Import and New contact.
- List: in Table, one row per contact with checkboxes for bulk actions; in Cards, one card per contact with its actions menu.
- Contact profile: opens when you click a contact (see The 360 profile).
A screenshot of this screen with the five areas numbered would help you get your bearings the first time. Meanwhile, go by the names in bold: they are the exact labels that appear in the app.

- Type in the search box (name, email or phone).
- Click Filters to filter by Status, Qualification, Channel, Tags, Sales rep and Classified by AI.

Switch between table and cards and choose columns
- The Table / Cards selector changes the layout.
- In Table, Columns shows or hides Company, Tags, Qualification, Status, Sales rep, Lists, City, Channel and Created. Move up / Move down reorders them and Reset columns goes back to the original.
- The Client column is always shown. City, Channel and Created are hidden by default.
- Sort by clicking the Client, Company, Qualification, City or Created header.
A contact's 360 profile
Click a contact (or search for it with ⌘K / Ctrl K) to open its profile:
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Info | Contact details, organization, source, identification, the Classified by AI block, company, tags, segments, lists and notes. |
| Opportunities | Their opportunities. New opportunity creates one. |
| Relations | Their quotes, tickets and conversations. |
| Activity | The contact's event history. |
At the bottom are Edit, Delete, Export data and Close, depending on your permissions. Export data downloads all the contact's information (opportunities, quotes, calls).
In Relations you only see the quotes, tickets and conversations you have access to.
Bulk actions
- Switch to the Table view.
- Check the contacts' boxes (or Select all on this page). A bar appears with the number selected.
- Choose the action: Assign (a sales rep or Remove sales rep), Tag (Add tag / Remove tag), Lists (Add to list, Move to list, Remove from list), Export or Archive (sends them to the Trash).
- Click Clear selection to finish.
- Maximum 100 contacts per action.
- It only applies to contacts you can see. If any fail, the notice says how many were updated and how many had errors.
Delete, restore or delete permanently
- Open the contact's profile and click Delete.
- Confirm with Move to trash.
- To recover it, choose Trash in the Views panel and click Restore on the row: it goes back to the active list and to its lists.
- To delete it forever, click Delete permanently, type the contact's email to confirm and click Delete permanently again.
Delete permanently cannot be undone. Moving to the trash, on the other hand, is reversible.
Export
- To export everything, leave the All view without filters. To export a subset, choose a view (segment, list, My clients…) or apply filters and search.
- Click Export (download icon) in the top bar.
It downloads an .xlsx with what you are viewing, with a maximum of 10,000 rows and
only with the contacts you have permission to see. To export a few
specific contacts, select them in Table and use Export in the selection
bar.
The exported file is also the import template: see Imports.
Lists, tags, segments and AI classification
Each one has its own page:
Lists
Group contacts by hand, by source.
Tags
Mark contacts and companies.
Segments
Group by rules, by interest.
AI classification
Review, revert and reclassify.

Frequently asked questions
I can't find a contact who wrote in on WhatsApp. If they are not identified yet, they are in the To recover view.
I deleted a contact by mistake. If you sent it to the trash, restore it from Trash. If you deleted it permanently, it cannot be recovered.
Why doesn't the export include all my contacts? It respects the view, the filters and the search, goes up to 10,000 rows and only includes the contacts you can see.
