Both products

The Excel file is in Spanish

The template file is generated in Spanish: its sheets, column headers and dropdown values are the Spanish ones (for example Crear, Actualizar, Eliminar). This page shows their English meaning; keep the Spanish values in the file.

Summary

There are five templates: contacts, products, services, projects and distributors. Each one is the same Excel file that the Export button on its screen downloads. This is the column-by-column detail; the wizard's step-by-step is in Imports.

Common rules

Rule	Detail
File	CSV, XLS or XLSX, up to 10 MB. In Excel only the first sheet is read; the first row holds the column names.
Export	Up to 10,000 rows, respecting the view, filters and search.
Excel sheets	The data sheet, the Instructions sheet and a hidden sheet with the dropdown values.
ID	First column, in gray. Do not edit or delete it. New rows go without an ID.
Action	Second column: Create, Update or Delete (empty = whatever you choose in the wizard). It is empty when you export.
Empty cell	"Do not touch this value". It never deletes.
Dropdowns	Only accept the values in the list. Any other text is ignored (Excel warns with Value not in list).
Gray columns	Informational: editing them changes nothing.
Numbers	Formats such as 1.234,56, 189.900 or 1,234.56 are accepted; currency symbols are ignored. Negative numbers are not accepted.
Lists inside a cell	Separated by commas (;, `

Contacts ("Contacts" sheet)

A row is considered the same contact if the ID, the email or the phone matches (in that order).

9	Company tax ID	No	The lookup is by tax ID (NIT) first. A tax ID without a name that does not match leaves the contact without a company, with a warning.
10	Job title	No	Text.

24	Tags	No	Comma-separated, up to 50. They replace the contact's tags. Tags that do not exist are created only with permission (tag.create); otherwise they are skipped with a warning. BORRAR removes them all.
25	Lists	No	Same as Tags; creating lists requires contacts.createList. BORRAR removes the contact from every list.
26	Segments	—	Gray, read-only. It is calculated from each segment's rules and is not imported.
27	Notes	No	Text.

BORRAR is recognized regardless of case; eliminar, quitar, ninguna, ninguno and - also work.

Products ("Products" sheet)

A row is considered the same product if the ID or the SKU matches.

Categories, subcategories, families and sales channels are not in the template: they are assigned from the catalog.

Google Drive links work if the file is shared as "Anyone with the link". Images and videos are processed after the import; if any fails, a warning is left in the report.

Notes

• Permissions: exporting requires the view permission (<módulo>.read); importing, including rows with Delete, requires the create permission (<módulo>.create).
• The import report keeps at most 1,000 errors and 1,000 warnings.
• A large import keeps running in the background even if you close the window.
